Religious Life

Prayer and Worship
Prayer and Worship happens daily at Holy Infant & St. Anthony and is an integral part of school life. Everything begins and ends with prayer and it is in the rhythm of our school life. It takes many forms from School Masses led by Father Kieran to class reflections led by the children themselves. Our GIFT team supports our younger pupils in leading their own acts of worship and they take a key role in the prayer life of the school.

The children are supported in their spiritual life by many visitors including visitors from parishioners and CAFOD. Children of all faiths and backgrounds benefit from the opportunity to stop, reflect, think and pray and we know that being calmly with Jesus contributes to our children’s spiritual health and well-being.

Witness
We witness our faith by holding lots of different events in our school to bring our local and world community together. The children at Holy Infant’s love to plan and organise fundraising, visit local care homes, perform concerts and more to reach out and make the members of our community feel welcome, while also remembering those in our wider world who need our care.
