Each Friday afternoon at 3.00p.m., there is a celebration assembly to which parents, grandparents, relatives and parishioners are warmly welcome to attend. At this assembly the children’s achievements both in and out of school are celebrated.
At the beginning of each term the class teacher sends home a curriculum overview to advise parents of the children’s termly programme of lessons, homework, P.E. lessons, class routines etc.
Please be mindful of the school term dates when planning your holidays and be conscious of the fact that if your child misses a week of school it can create a learning concern for your child. This applies especially to the very young children as we follow a daily program of work that is vital to their progress and if they lose the continuity of their learning it can be difficult for them when they return.
It is Government Policy not to authorise term time absences unless it is an exceptional circumstance.
All requests for absence should be in completed on the application form which can either be downloaded here or by requesting a paper copy from the School Office.
The request should be submitted to the Head Teacher at least one month before the required dates.
